Elite: Dangerous is an online space flight simulation and combat, trading, exploration, mining, ship-based, vehicle-based and on-foot PvP and PvE game that takes place within a slightly outdated yet surprisingly accurate 1:1 scale simulation of the Milky Way galaxy. There was already star located in-game at about the same place before it was discovered in real life. We're sadly missing UY Scuti but there's VY Canis Majoris. Still super-massive and real-sized in-game, especially in VR.

The server is balanced around challenging solo play that emphasizes the survival aspect of the game and proper progression through all of the tiers. I want to play through all of the story maps, so the goal is to be the first to ascend off The Island by beating the Alpha Overseer (beta and gamma don't count, faggot). After the first person achieves this, I'll open a clustered Scorched Earth server for character only transfers. When the first person ascends off SE, the Island server will be shut down and Aberration will be opened and we'll continue the rolling cluster that way. The bosses have been nerfed so a solo player can beat the alpha versions with good, imprinted tames and apprentice saddles. No need for breeding autism to beat the game, but the breeding rates make it a reasonable option for those who like it.
I'm also the admin of the /vm/ UO server >>1693432 that has been running continuously for over a year now. Even if I stop playing I'll keep these servers running. Globalists Edition

After a year in service, Frens of Akalabeth has wiped and relaunched with the latest UO Odyssey fork: Memento, which is a fork of Adventurers of Akalabeth, which is a fork of Ruins & Riches. This fork brings a bit more streamlined, but also more challenging experience as the power creep in the other forks got out of hand. Notably resists are harder to come by, items have less magical attributes, and skill bonuses from items now obey the 100 skill cap unless you use a powerscroll. Other notable changes include the addition of OmniAI which makes for more exciting combat, gathering and crafting skills don't count toward the total skill cap (with 1 exception on this server), and a de-emphasis on macroing by adding more natural skill progression and bulk crafting/continuous harvesting system with rich deposits that randomly spawn in the world. A runescape classic inspired mmo with modern qol
currently there are about 100 players on at any time with peaks of 180 Old Secret Lab is back, well kinda.
Echoes plays a lot like old SCP SL (before Parabellum). No hume shields, simple, but reliable guns and some janky prop physics.
Playable classes currently are D-Class, Scientist, NTF, Chaos and of course the SCPs: 049, 106, 173 and 475.
Other environmental SCPs include: 914, 207 and 294 via voice recognition.
Also new Surface Zone - pic related.
There is a level editor, but you can't play on your custom levels yet.
There are currently two public servers, one EU and one NA, additionally you can easily create and join your own server with a few clicks.
The game is currently in a closed play test, but you can apply with one button click, through steam.

i recently downloaded csgo_legacy from steam and started modding some files like gamemodes.txt for custom modes and maps. now im trying to mess with the code.pbin file that has all the panorama ui stuff. i was able to open it as a zip archive and extract everything just fine. but the problem is i cant repack it back into a working code.pbin. i tried using normal zip tools with and without compression but csgo doesnt load it. i noticed the original code.pbin has some binaries before the zip part (from 0x0 to 0x204 in hex), post 0x204 is the content of the zip. i can edit the file directly in a hex editor and it works(without touching the pre 0x204 part), but thats inconvenient for bigger changes. anyone knows how to pack modded panorama files back into a working code.pbin? any help would mean a lot
ps i also have classic offensive(may 7th 2025) and it also use code.pbin(yeah standalone csgo mod always have that except if its pre 2018 ig). the pre 0x204 part of the classic offensive code.pbin differs from csgo vanilla wth is it true FF players are trannies? EVE Online Thread

Welcome to /vm/abinogi. Mabinogi is a fun, once popular little old school Korean MMO from 2004 based around Celtic mythology with many different features. Your character can age, rebirth, eat food and gain weight, play and custom make music, and so much more. You can be anything and do anything all at once with no downsides. From non-combat related skills like cooking, tailoring, blacksmithing, trading goods in a commerce, carpentry, etc. to different styles of combat like melee, magic, ninja, archery, puppetry, etc. all on 1 character.
Although graphics and gameplay is still a bit dated, even after 28 years the game is still rich in content such as fashion contests, cooking contest, jousting, playing in or viewing large concerts, training pets, and so on and continues to be Nexon's most generous game.

The Lost City project hopes to recreate a bunch of lost versions, and content will slowly update to match later revisions, and it will eventually launch 2005scape, etc. Each new year will be its own separate server, each having different saves of your character that carry over from the previous years, meaning that anything you accomplish in 2004scape will still persist as the game progresses through the years.

I was told about this Turtle WoW game and how it was the go to private server for Vanilla WoW. I've always been a big WoW player, but recently unsubbed from official WoW servers and wanted to give private servers a try, figure it must be legit if there are so many playing them. I downloaded the client. No problems so far. Then when I launched the Turtle WoW launcher my computer begin to slow down. I didn't think much of it, because I guess it's a new file or something, idk; so, I restarted my computer and this is when I felt something was off. I noticed my usual startup time took much longer than before. I have a nicer PC build BTW, but this just didn't seem right. I launched Turtle WoW launcher again I suspected this might be the issue. I opened WoW anyways and it wasn't opening and then finally opened after like 5 minutes, which is just obsurd. I decided to run a malware virus scan and sure enough Turtle WoW file had Malware and a virus attached to it. WTF!!!!!!!!!!
I'm never downloading a private servers again and I hope anyone who is interested in playing private server be cautious. I'm not happy with Blizzard, but this seemed like a cool thing to try. This is not cool. I thought this server was the go-to server. Who the fuck is running Turtle WoW and I get a virus from installing their launcher?
