Korean anime-styled battle royale with moba controls/skills. Currently 8 squads of 3 for a total of 24 players per game but they may bring back solos and duos in the future. Elite: Dangerous is an online space flight simulation and combat, trading, exploration, mining, ship-based, vehicle-based and on-foot PvP and PvE game that takes place within a slightly outdated yet surprisingly accurate 1:1 scale simulation of the Milky Way galaxy. There was already star located in-game at about the same place before it was discovered in real life. We're sadly missing UY Scuti but there's VY Canis Majoris. Still super-massive and real-sized in-game, especially in VR.
New ships:
-Mandalay, scheduled for release in early October; a new exploration mamba with yuge jump range and ability to shit out the pilot directly below the cockpit so he can sniff plants without walking. Also apparently the most "supercruise-optimized".
-Type-8 is actually a MEDIUM hauler which makes the Type-7 officially the new asp scout. "supercruise-optimized" too.
-New Python variant called the Python-de-lanc- I mean, Python Mk II. "supercruise-optimized" as well.

World 16 is coming out tomorrow, 1st of November, 20:00 UTC time.
The game now has STEAM integration, and for that reason, devs are predicting the biggest player count ever. If you were looking to play this game at some point, this is an interesting time to do it.
In addition, there was some major food rework, which essentially gets rid of meta foods and introduces a tier food system, making it easier and more intuitive. There are other minor changes, and what is assumed a re-work of steel producing.

3 weeks ago we finished our factions prog we are taking a short break from that to let people recuperate we'll start our NF prog on either Nov 29-30 or Dec 6-7. However this prog will be difference from previous progs due to popular demand we are going to do a paragon only prog more details in a later post.

What is DSOAL-GW1?

I've been running Halo Reach custom games for a while now.
Getting some traction with them, so I'll be posting when I host a session here.
Halo: Reach has mod tools that allow you to create custom gametype scripts that anyone can play through the custom games browser, without having to download anything.
Some months ago, I used these tools to create custom Slayer and Firefight gametypes that brought Reach's gameplay closer to playing like Halo CE, with tons of small physics and gameplay adjustment.
Posted about this and hosted several games on /vg/.
Eventually this gametype evolved into an Elites-only Slayer gametype, with an extremely limited weapon selection; Concussion Rifles, Energy Swords, Plasma Rifles, Needlers, and Plasma Pistols. This ended up being a lot of fun. Came up with "Bangheilios" for a cheeky nickname.
This has further evolved. Expanded the sandbox with a few more weapons, Forge-edited several maps to fit the gametype, and created a King of the Hill variant.

After some thought, I think the only reason I still play video games is to relive the good old days when I used to have friends and I would play all sorts of video games with them. Oftentimes we wouldn't even be playing video games; we'd just sit around and chat after work. Of course, groups always drift apart as people grow busier or less interested, but it felt like you could always make more friends than you would lose. Your contacts lists were always growing and clans were always recruiting. New games would release and new communities would form around them.
One day, though, it seems as if all of that stopped. It's like I have a gap in my memory between now and back then. My old microphone has been packed away and left untouched for two house moves now. What happened? Did everyone grow out of playing video games except for me? Did everyone move on to entirely new things without me? Do people even play video games together anymore, or is it all automated matchmaking these days?
These days I try to match that old experience by playing all sorts of multiplayer games and making short-lived conversation in the in-game chat, but people don't ever seem very interested. Oftentimes I like to listen to old youtube videos in the background to add to the illusion of being among friends when I'm alone, even when I'm not playing vidya.
Apologies to board users (NOT jannies) if this is a little too meta or off-topic. It is about video games, specifically multiplayer stuff in my case, so I thought this would be the best place. I also like the slow pace here compared to those other, less desirable, boards. Co-op multiplayer is being released November 18th as free DLC for The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. Also the base game and paid DLC is on sale right now on Steam.

If someone was honking his horn at you in traffic and cursing at you, you'd realise that he's a "bad person", and that he's not doing ACTUAL gatekeeping - instead he's warding off potential, moral/good friends.
The proper way to gatekeep is to take action against those that are visibly the enemy - like kicking women from guilds, insulting those that try to cheat(exploiting the vulnerable, being a cancer, etc.) through life using Twitch, patreon, etc.

This is a /vm/ server for my own personal fork of Adventurers of Akalabeth by Xork, which is a fork of Ruins & Riches (originally known as Odyssey) by Djeryv. The server has been running since March and has been enjoyed by several anons. This is far from a typical UO server because over the course of a decade Djeryv modified the game into an old school sandbox adventure experience designed for solo or small party play. It focuses heavily on exploration with new world maps filled with towns and dungeons, requiring players to find clues to navigate between worlds. The game lacks a central storyline, instead offering random quests and contracts from town quest boards, with hints provided by reading NPC dialogue. There is no wiki and information is much harder to come by than modern gamers are used to. Skills have been rebalanced for better utility, and crafters can open shops and receive contracts if they acquire a house. Resurrecting without paying a tribute reduces skill points, and dungeons are filled with brutal traps and dangerous portals. There's a lot of funny builds you can try out, depending on your character origin you can also get higher skill caps to expand possibilities.

make sure to click space bar to skip the loading screen or disable it entirely client side as it does crash, another issue is crashing when alt tabbing and is therefore preferred to use windowed mode, and as for the server browser by default there are filters that should be checked off so if you don't see any servers on the browser list just disable them, and for the console it by default is turned off though it can be turned on in advanced settings

Like, elites spent TRILLIONS of dollars trying to make a "Metaverse" and it flopped horribly due to not apealing to anyone. In this sense, the Fortnite "collaborations" with different IPs and celebrities aren't a way to "Call people's attention". The metaverse's intention is not to create a funny simulator, is to create an alternative to reality, an "Escape" from the tyranny of the Demiurge, they really try to reach that state of the universe where EVERYTHING is part of ONE.
Fortnite is NOT going to stop NEVER unitl EVERYTHING is part of Fortnite, every celebrity, Every game, movie, comic and book, every character, every weapon, every map, every mechanic that has ever been concieved, every music (They are now selling those), even CLOTHING BRANDS, THEY ARE *NOT* GOING TO STOP UNTIL EVERYTHING IS PART OF THEM. Once everyting is part of it, it will appeal to everyone, that's the only way they can achieve a functioning Metaverse. Got one but it's so hard to get used to it, is it even worth it? My vim muscle memory is completely corrupted . How long it takes to actually get used to this new way of typing

I'm either too old or got tired of cheaters. I love games like THE FINALS or CS2 but sometimes I'm just exhausted and can't go on. Post multiplayer action games that are competitive but don't require too much mechanical skill or insane button sequences/APM
Not the focus on ACTION GAMES; I don't want shit like Worms or Hearthstone. There needs to be a realtime aspect involved or harsh time limits for moves/decisions. for example Chess would apply but only in the rapid or bullet variants.

**Early Access Hotfix #65**
@everyone,We will be deploying hotfix #65 starting at <t:1727197200>.
When the patch starts, you will not be able to log in to the game and players in-game will not be able to enter the matchmaking pool during this time.
Players in a match or in-game will have 40 minutes to complete their match and exit safely.
The server will return to full service 3 hours after the patch starts.
During maintenance, all services, including the website, may be temporarily suspended to update various servers.
**Changes:**
- Fixed an issue where the entire map and quick slot 3 changes were assigned to the right side of the gamepad's D-Pad.
- Fixed an issue where the Fighter's Shield Slam could not deal damage when hitting the area around the head.
- Fixed an issue where the Ranger's Multi-shot could have different bullet collection rates depending on the angle.
- Fixed an issue where Wizard's Chain Lightning was transferred to 5 targets instead of 4 targets.
- Fixed an issue where the Earthquake effect could sometimes remain even after the Cleric stopped channeling.
- Fixed an issue where Spellplunder Rod would restore spell memory even if it hit an object.
- Fixed an issue where the Ruins Golem would sometimes stop moving after blocking its attack.
- Fixed an issue where the material of gold ore could not be displayed properly. This is the future of multiplayer games
