One dedicated autist has managed to create a massive 'tism mill dubbed malice, capable of creating many efficiency V xcrack tools.
The transborean elkway has been completed and we have many people working on polishing off the roughest sections.
Rumors of a hyperborean games are still circulating but it is not looking great considering the server is dead. Maybe in 2 more weeks.
A new grand pvp/pve arena has been completed in sahara.
A dedicated builder has begun construction of an underground hellscape in the Slums.
Rumors of cults in said underground, are completely and totally unfounded.

Doom 2016 multiplayer is still alright 
After a year in service, Frens of Akalabeth has wiped and relaunched with the latest UO Odyssey fork: Memento, which is a fork of Adventurers of Akalabeth, which is a fork of Ruins & Riches. This fork brings a bit more streamlined, but also more challenging experience as the power creep in the other forks got out of hand. Notably resists are harder to come by, items have less magical attributes, and skill bonuses from items now obey the 100 skill cap unless you use a powerscroll. Other notable changes include the addition of OmniAI which makes for more exciting combat, gathering and crafting skills don't count toward the total skill cap (with 1 exception on this server), and a de-emphasis on macroing by adding more natural skill progression and bulk crafting/continuous harvesting system with rich deposits that randomly spawn in the world. does it work? is it real? can anyone really tell if a game has good or bad SBMM?
the one constant i see across all PvP discussions is how shit matchmaking is, and i've reached a point where i have to assume everyone is delusional about what kinds of games matchmaking "should" be giving them. as if 80% of their games should be perfectly rank balanced and will be fair, fun, etc.
problem is, what does that mean? is a balanced match one that either team can win at any point? there's no feeders, no mistakes, what exactly?
yes of course i've gotten plenty of shitty teammates, i've faced plenty of "gods" on the enemy team, but i have to question what those mean. it's like the automatic assumption on the internet is: shitty teammates = they must be way below my rank and thus matchmaking is broken and shitty; god opponents = they're way above my rank, so on. but there's hardly ever the assumption that they ARE at your rank and they're still calibrating to an appropriate rank or, even more relevant, they're just having a particularly good/bad match? it's like people assume if you throw two people at exactly the same rank at each other, nothing will happen, they're evenly matched and can't best the other. but i feel the reality (obv) is that one will win and one will lose, and by how much is just up to how locked in they are, how many micro mistakes will be made, which in theory does result in stomps, right? if they truly are evenly matched, then those small wins will add up and by the end it will look like one stomped the other, even if the minute-to-minute doesn't tell that story
so what is it? do games with healthy enough playerbases actually have shitty matchmaking? are people hyperbolic as fuck and claiming bad teammates worse than me good enemies better than me just cope for not understanding minute skill diff? am i just trying to be too big an apologist for the algorithm?

What the shit?
Terminologically correct it is an no rules server. 2b2t is the only Beta 1.7.3 server out there true to Minecraft's gamemode: survival. It's the only server not infested by idiot-cunt-kid admins fucking up the server with every Bukkit plugin out there. The server is completely vanilla with the exception of the Bukkit plugin NoCheat. There are no admins, no moderators, no OPs, no bans, no kicks, no punishment, no rules, no nothing. It's up to you to survive.
And that's why we like it.

Your character can age, rebirth, eat food and gain weight, play and custom make music, and so much more. You can be anything and do anything all at once with no downsides. From non-combat related skills like cooking, tailoring, blacksmithing, trading goods in a commerce, carpentry, etc. to different styles of combat like melee, magic, ninja, archery, puppetry, etc. all on 1 character.
Although graphics and gameplay is still a bit dated, even after 28 years the game is still rich in content such as fashion contests, cooking contest, jousting, playing in or viewing large concerts, training pets, and so on and continues to be Nexon's most generous game.
