"/wg/ - Wallpapers/General" is 4chan's imageboard for posting general wallpapers.
Rules:
-NO PORN
-NO HYPER SEXUALIZED POSES (spread legs square with camera, lifting breasts, spreading ass cheeks, fingering, licking)
-NO SEX TOYS
-NO MEN (traditional definition)
-NO SEX, its okay if there are two or more women, just make sure that it is a tasteful image
-Keep it tasteful, if the feelings of arousal are greater then the feeling of beauty (arousal > beauty = no post), don't post it
-Keep it a good resolution, 1080p at a minimum please
-Keep the subjects within the confines of the Alt, Emo, Goth community or adjacent to it (pastel goth, mall emo, etc.)
-If the image contains fetish material (image focus on feet, latex, gag ball, butt plug, etc.) make sure it passes the litmus test (arousal < beauty)
-Please post only the best photos. If you're on the line about posting a image because it's good enough, then don't post it.

Just follow the basics and post wallpapers (desktop or phone) that:
1) Have a female prominently pictured
2) Are videogame related in some way
Keep in mind:
3) Fanart, redesigns, gender swapping and crossovers are most welcome. Cosplayers, streamers, developers, and pro-gamers are also fair game.
4) Anime/Manga/Japanese style art is ok as long as it relates somehow to the topic (Women in Videogames).
5) Lewd, risqué, nudes, erotic, 18+ wallpapers are accepted as long as they are tasteful and comply with the general rules of the board. Please refrain from posting openly pornographic or shock content.
6) AI art is not welcome and will be considered trash.

Just post some decent quality 4:3 papes good for both CRTs and LCDs.
CE heavily preferred. Fanart, official papes, screenshots, all sizes welcome.
For non cropped I prefer using wallpaper engine for the mouse paralax feature. unlink X and Y axis and only paralax Y axis and you can have the full pic despite vertical as your wallpaper. all audio responsive add ons still work as long as you can position a copy for both eyes.
To make your own I rec Owl3D (https://www.owl3d.com/) for images, no need to crop. Free for most features and runs locally.
For video (and cropped images) I mostly use IW3
I prefer working with videos so I will link my video wallpaper dumps as I get them uploaded

I'm kinda looking for a very specific one, but this is not supposed to be a request, more like a try if it rings a bell with anyone. I remembered a wallpaper from when I was a kid and I would really like to find it, but my memory is very unclear about the details. It was definitely back in the 90s, as I'm sure it was on Win95. It was a low res (obviously) close up pic of a white kitten with brown or gray patches (it's really a long time ago so my memory is not that clear and I believe the color quality was not even 24bit back then) and I believe it was sitting in some bushes. If anyone remembers or has something close to that, it would be appreciated.
Meanwhile, as I said, gimme all your cats.

If you can't tell what browser it is, it's probably Firefox, you can theme Firefox using Stylus and finding themes on the Firefox tag of Userstyles.
Otherwise if you won't upgrade there's always Chrome, you can ~slightly~ customize it using Chrome Theme Maker. Vivaldi has custom CSS settings too in a native way.
