The fact that you even consider this a question is frankly insulting. Togashi can craft better characters in just a few pages than the entirety of wan piss cast. His storyboarding, page composition, and paneling are more cinematic and engaging. His line work is superior. His cross-hatching is more detailed. His settings are richer. His world-building is leagues ahead. Even the Black Whale (a fucking ship) showcases more intricate "worldbuilding" than the entire wan piss universe.
Togashi writes more compelling storylines. His characters are nuanced, rarely confined to just two factions of good and evil. The current arc of HxH alone features over 30 factions, each driven by unique motivations and different shades of morality. The fights are also far more interesting, with powers that aren't just about punching harder or defeating enemies but are instead tied to the narrative. The story constantly evolves, making it impossible to predict what's next. Every character gets meaningful focus, and Togashi rarely resorts to character gags to force shallow connections with readers.
Hunter x Hunter is a million times better than wan piss. This isn't even a subjective opinion, it’s a fact. Even Oda himself would agree with me. Every mangaka in Jump would tell you the same because, as creators themselves, they recognize Togashi’s brilliance. The only ones who would disagree are sunkcostfags and manchildren who have been reading this dogshit series for decades and hailing it as some Shakespearean masterpiece. It's pathetic. Grow the fuck up and get some taste.
