Unironically... by identifying as hispanic. And i know for a fact that claiming to not be white helped me. In 2019, i was unemployed for the entire year. This particular job posting, i kept applying to and they'd deny me then delete and repose. I think i applied to it at least 5 times. Well 2020 rolls around and i said "fuck it im hispanic now" and i reapplied and they hired me without even an interview, i was just told to show up on a Monday. You'd think they'd interview for a good paying tech job, but no, they just wanted someone who wasnt white

it really irked me ya know, associated me being hired for just no longer being white
