First, you have to deal with you anger. Yes your mom is evil but don't hold a grudge against her because she was probably abused as a kid too so she doesn't know any better, she can't help it and it's not personal. Forgive her for treating you like shit but be planning to get away asap. She's a lost cause and will never change her ways.

Focus on protecting yourself while you are forced to live with her. Consider her a damage-over-time obstacle and limit your exposure to her at all cost. Join every single extra-curricular club/activity you can at school so you are away from the house as much as possible during the week. Sleep over at friends houses on weekends. Get a job asap too. Work anywhere don't be picky, its not a career it's a means to an end and you can quit anytime. Don't waste your money on clothes, save so you can move away from her the moment you turn 18, or whatever the legal age to live on your own is where you are.

Regarding fashion, don't worry about it right now. No one remembers if you dressed "cool" in high school and honestly, no one is actually as cool as you think in HS. You'll see this when you get a little older. Most people develop their cool personal styles when they are adults and have the agency and money to do what they want.
