I think it lands in the middle. Useless for practical reasons. I genuinely can't think of a single practical thing to use that for. It really is just a big nothing burger at the end of the day that is purely a new aesthetic that manufacturers can upcharge you for if it takes off (which it likely will).

But on the other hand, it would be cool as hell for themed builds. Like those pintrest tiktok faggots who do the full blown evangelion, sailor moon, cherry blossom, hello kitty themes or whatever else, where they have the watercooled CPU with the monitor that they play anime gifs on. I'm not a fan of that kind of thing personally, but this does add a whole new layer of creativity to pull things together. Like maybe snippets from trailers of your favorite movies or games or a vaporwave color build with the little neon purple car cruising by palm trees and have the rest of the RGB be blue/purple/orange/pink. I'm a faggot who likes Dragon Ball Z so for me I would do something like
>RGB yellow fans, but they change between a lighter and darker yellow from the bottom up to simulate a super saiyan aura
>blue RGB strip on GPU
>watercooler block thing completely black with the Majin M symbol
>screen on the front is Majin Vegeta powering up before he explodes
it's cringe as hell but if I was gonna do a themed build I would pay the extra for it. I imagine it would also work with Wallpaper Engine which would be cool as well.

I think it's useless therefore cringe, but nifty therefore based. Your PC should be made of parts that are good, but the parts that don't matter as much can be centered around stuff that you like.
