*very specifically, it's a lot easier to use qbittorrent in such a configuration where it will only use the network of the VPN, without needing to worry about accidentally turning off the VPN and leaking your IP.
On linux it's very annoying and I think you need docker or something, it's easier if you just put windows into a VM and used qbittorrent.
(but if you use a VPN on windows, your whole PC will use the VPN, so if you tried to use google it's going to ask if you are a bot, ip banned on 4chan, it's very annoying).
I avoid torrenting when possible however, it's much faster to download stuff off sites with jdownloader, old games tend to have expired links.
