the worst part about wayland its so fucking average it would be cool if it came like 20 years ago, but in ~2025? bro we need something better, like what does it solve what does it bring to the table that other compositors or whatever don't bring?
as someone who made few GUI programs in my lifetime biggest problem ive encountered and not a single OS/compositor tries to solve it is that there is no good way of reuse of basic functionalities that a lot of guis want to do
like i want to show images in my program? gotta code it from scratch
