from what I recall, some anthologies have/had more/less censorship depending on how publicly visible/available the particular magazine was. some mags you could just buy in a basic store (these would have higher censorship) while others required you to purchase it from a specific adult-oriented retailer (these would have less censorship), IIRC. most of it has been consolidated with the digital distribution model taking much of the business, I imagine.
