People like to think this is a "realistic" coming of age story about a guy moving on but in reality it's a tragedy about two people with koala-level intellects being manipulated by a bonobo and his sister. Let's summarize the plot.

>Absolute idiot falls in love with absolute doormat, befriends her, waits THREE YEARS to confess.
>Caveman wants to bang Chitose and his sister, who had no interest in them prior to this, manipulates the situation to have him take her virginity.
>Chitose, being the doormat she is, acts reluctantly and begs him to stop. Hori, the man who supposedly loves her, does NOTHING while she's being raped in front of him, just goes and bangs hot sister because social pressure I guess.
>The group goes to fuck to a love hotel, Taka keeps sharing pictures of Chitose being roughly banged, girl is not enjoying it, just acting like a curious sex doll who can't say no. Taka is clearly into his sister and this isn't a crush on Chitose, but just the siblings living their fantasies.
>Hori tries to confess to Chitose, but again, being the absolute doormat she is, decides to do what she believes is right by dating her rapist "for now". You can see both of them moping because she wants Hori and Hori wants her.
>During the final chapters, we can see the only way Chitose gets to actually smile during sex or get into it is if Hori is mentioned. Not really a voyeuristic kink since he doesn't sees them fucking afterwards, more like the only side of her brain that actually works goes on auto pilot and uses Taka as a fetish while he's using her as a sex doll.
>Pretty much confirmed during last chapter. Doormat gets drunk because you could tell her to jump down into a well and she'd do it. Takayuki rapes her again, and in her drunken haze she sees Hori and blows him, holds hands, kisses. Both of them leave with their respective captors, sad and mopey.
>Hori supposedly moves on with a haircut metaphor, yet Mika brings in a new sheep to the art club.
