She's a Shinto god playing at being Egyptian. I was thinking more that'd be some archeologist type right after the Treaty of Kanagawa messing around and ending up in the pyramid and getting possessed by the Dosojin, his memories of archeological digs in Egypt influencing their new shared existence.
