I would say the opposite. The point I was making is that they make their long term rivalries actually feel like organic rivalries. Look at Rock and Austin. Or Triple H and Foley. Even Trish and Lita. They're all ones that follow the formula I mentioned here >>16769046. They weren't just two people working together nonstop. They'd do something together, go and do something else separate, find their way back to each other again, have at it and go their separate ways again, repeat etc. That's the way it should be done. Not by pitting people against each other every week in some form or fashion for 6 or 9 or 12 months nonstop. In the context of this thread, if there is a bigger picture to Swerve and Lashley as they've mentioned in promos then that isn't going to follow immediately after their first ppv match
