She held it for six months, jobbed to Julia Hart and then got stuck with Willow what seemed like a year.

Willow was an ROH act that accidentally lucked into NJPW title belt win because Mercedes got injured. She was never supposed to be figured into the plans but had to be shoehorned into them because she was the inaugural winner of a belt with their biggest ally and they didn't want to make it look like shit out of the gate. She beat Julia, and then immediately got pushed aside by Mercedes.
>Jamie/Mariah
Again, Jamie lost her spot due to a year plus long injury. The division went to complete shit and bottomed out with Saraya winning the belt and didn't stabilize until Shida took it off of her and passed it over to Timeless Toni Storm, which is the most successful character AEW has actually created. Mariah May comes in and is lackey for ~70% of her time there until she gets her big run and tells again, arguably one of the greatest stories AEW has ever had. Her reign flops because they spent way too long trying to figure when to use Mina and the only two credible women she ever faced were Willow and Toni but it ended with a bang. Meanwhile by the time Jamie comes back, she looks radically different to the point where even most of her biggest simps will tell you has damaged her aura.
