It was covid, they were desperate. They clearly didn't think it through. It was similar to my idea of an angle, in a way, to being a conspiracy of "matches being thrown" by wrestlers in order for the higher ups to get more money, but done much worse. It could've been good. I'm sure at the time Vince would've taken any idea just to keep his pwecious fwagship shows running weekly.
