-As other anons have already posted, there's more actual roleplay in wRPGs
-More interesting and varied settings past generic fantasy, like post-apocalyptic or alien settings
-More focus on sub-genres like cRPG, dungeon crawler, imsim, roguelike, diablolike, etc. means much wider gameplay variety between wRPGs
-Better character customization and class building
-Stories tend to be more grounded and relevant politically/philosophically
-Less pointless grindan
-Lore in wRPGs tends to be more interesting than jRPG lore

-Uglier characters
-Stories can be very pseudointellectual
-Stories are usually a little too political and topically relevant
-Devs can be insufferable
-wRPG fans tend to be insufferable pseud elitists

>jRPG pros
-Usually more memorable characters and scenes (not always in a good way though)
-More attractive girls, obviously not every game needs attractive girls but it's nice to see some eye candy once in a while
-Usually self-aware about their tropes and cliches, this can be funny and interesting
-The PC and their party and personality is usually much more important to the actual story/plot
-I have seen more jRPGs make references to Western history, classical culture, and religion than I have wRPGs make references to those things. Biblical and Norse mythology references seem to be the most common. I'm a chud and I like this so I'm putting it in pros

-All derivative from their own series or other jRPGs, even "experimental" jRPGs fail to completely break the traditional jRPG mold
-Typical fantasy setting for most of them, going off of previous point
-Being aware of their own tropes and cliche doesn't always excuse them
-Tend to be massive time sinks
-jRPG fans tend to be insufferable coomer weeb waifufags

Personally I really like both and have put hundreds of hours into several wRPGs and jRPGs and find the mutual shitflinging between fans of each to be retarded.
