Fallout 1 is just as railroady as FO3. It's not a "sandbox", it's an extremely limited RPG story in an open world that you can play in the bounds of to make little changes that don't particularly matter to the ending, like most RPGs. Fallout 3 is an extremely accurate 3DFPSARPG love letter to the original Fallout, and I'm tired of pretrnding it's not, it's a good game with a good atmosphere. Art could stand to be a little more colorful but whatever that was the fashion then. With Morrowind beth nostalgia fags at least have ground to stand on that shit has changed (and frankly, I agree with them, Morrowind is the GOAT) but Fallout 1 groids are just sour boomers
