I don't. It's still tedious and boring. If you're half competent and on anything but merciless, you're nearly one shotting everything anyway. If you're on merciless, the game ping pongs between braindead and fucking annoying, occasionally landing in the sweet spot, which is great fun.

Oh fuck off. I understand eschewing the dominant strategy for the sake of fun, and I don't mind slow games. I like Mystery Dungeon and Etrian Odyssey, for fuck's sake, I understand this. That doesn't change that Persona Q's math is just shit. It plays better than P2-5 (you could make an argument for 1, but only on the grounds of dungeon design, which is also lacking in Q compared to most of EO, but not outright bad), but that doesn't make it a fun blobber.

I love PQ's combat system, but the game was tuned to be steamrolled and both that + the poorly implemented hardest mode are really unpleasant.
