No they don't. Your perception of time is fucked. It's like saying "when people think of RPGs they think of Bioware" because that's what it was like 20 years ago. The average person is more likely to think of Baldur's Gate 3 or even something like Stardew Valley. Especially since Starfield flopped hard.

If games somewhat similar like Avowed and shit was doing extremely well, there would be more incentive to make a game like Skyrim or some shit for publishers/investors. But as it stands, it's another case of

Ironically, if more people were more positive towards games like Avowed they would be getting more games in the vein of Elder Scrolls. But instead people on this board chooses to actively shit on it an many other games for nitpicks and not even playing them. So amusingly they are shooting themselves in a foot and perpetuating the live service train.
