Well thing about morals are, we don’t create them. What we believe is moral does not always add up to what is actually moral.
What is moral is to avoid acts of vengeance. What’s moral is for justice to be done. Vengeance is Justice’s dark shadow.

The reason why it’s not good to seek vengeance isn’t because of weak reasons, or pretending to be peaceful namby pamby goody two shoes saints. It’s because to avoid vengeance is to be wise.

Vengeance means the person you wish to protect, will most likely lose (you) either to violence or arrest. So then she is defenceless, she loses her protection, she is vulnerable again. Let’s say you beat the rapist down and put him in a hospital. You get arrested. Rapist heals up, yet you’re still doing time locked up.

Know what it means? Your gf is defenseless, all alone, no protector. And the rapist is healed up and filled with anger of his own at what happened to him, and he notices your girl is alone and defenceless and her attacker boyfriend (you) can do nothing to stop what will happen next.
Forget strength for a minute, Play it with wisdom.

For now, keep her safe. If that rapist approaches you or her again and is hostile, then go all out, and do more than break his bones, break his entire skull until it caves in. Self defence.
