When you get married what you ACTUALLY agree is to LEGALLY and SPIRTUALLY become a SINGLE ENTITY. It's like a business merger but with people. Part of the legally mandated vows that must be stated whether you also do custom vows or not, is about who will lead and who will follow.

If we go back to your new statement about taking care of each others needs, this includes OPs sexual needs. Relationships are ongoing compromise and negotiation. They shift and change over time as the parties themselves grow, change and so do their needs.
