That's just an excuse. Nobody in public is judging you or even really paying any attention to your presence or appearance so long as you're not doing anything horrifically absurd that would make you stand out.
So short of going out dressed as a clown or a furry, nobody is specifically observing, remembering, or even going to acknowledge your existence outside of basic courtesies they have for everyone else that's there.
You're inventing judgements and opinions that other people aren't even going to hold.
The last time you went out, can you describe the physical appearance or behaviors of everyone you can across in enough detail to identify any of them?
