regarding that you post /here/ im assuming you have some decent iq and wisdoms that already are pretty rare for a woman

introducing them is like a safety-net mechanism, parents and good friends screen your potential mates for red flags, since love makes blind.
but if youve got the skill to detach/distance yourself/objectify and abstract calmly and use wise discernment on your boyfriend, this is not a must-thing to do. (still advisable)
how are you lonely and depressed if youve got a boyfriend? does he not love you?

i take it you have good relationship with your father? then you have to CALMLY explain him that you are getting older and time stops for noone, not even the sweety that is his daughter and love falls where it does. if hes a loving parent, he probably still will try to gently explain why your boyfriend is a bad decision. and that is natural and good, you should be concerned if that was not the case. you should acknowledge and respect the things hes going to say. but ultimatively the choice is going to be yours.

you can clock out by getting pregnant which oftenly cures depression too. but then the heavy load lies completely with your bf and father, it is the "easy" way out. (but then you have completly other tasks and issues to overcome)

remember anonette, communication is key. if you feel your emotions coming up, take a break, take deep breaths, count to ten, maybe wash your face with cold water (thats what i do, always helps me)
