This bypasses the immediate need for crazy amounts of spanish beyond just doing groceries / navigating day to day life which is minimal if you are just gymming and coding. If I was you though, I know this gets me marked as a gringo / outsider immediately which they can already tell I'm sure -- so I would keep my place super barebones for the first year. Literally a mattress , some minor kitchen supplies, and a laptop that's encrypted and u got that shit on lock with VPN and everything. You have no idea who is watching you or is going to take you for an easy mark.

There's not really jobs for this besides maybe paltry freelancing, everyone out west especially is pretty much full stack these days. This is another problem I'm seeing , you're sidestepping trying to do the HARD thing. That's a huge fricken problem , you can't be afraid of backend in the long term. Programming is problem solving , all the easy ringer problems are pretty much solved and nobody is gonna pay you shit for reddit/stackoverflow answer tier patchwork coding in the age of AI.

You do this because you're serious about being DAMN good and that is going to have a heavy price. There is no way to hack/shortcut it anymore , those days are long gone.
