yes, but girls signal they like you with eye contact, and you're supposed to respond with a cold approach. here's how i did things as a single guy
>go outside (impossible)
>make eye contact with girls
>wait for a smile
>say "hiya" to the girls that smile
>ignore the others
>ask her "whatchya doin" and be sly saying it
>ask her followup questions, say dumb shit, etc to try to get her to laugh
>if she keeps talking to you for a couple minutes then pivot, "well i thought you were cute, wanna hang out sometime?"
>if she says yes then pull out your phone, open the contacts app, start creating a new contact, and hand the phone to her
>if she says no then say "oh ok, well, have a good one then" and walk away
>repeat this process until you get a number
>immediately ask her "should i wait three days to text you?" and she will say no
>text her right there "hi" and show her the text you sent
>wrap up the convo ASAP, "i'm pretty busy right now, wanna hang out next friday?"
>if yes then say you'll figure out the details, and tell her you gotta go, goodbye
>if she's busy/etc but suggests an alternative, genuinely think about whether you're busy or not, and, tell her if you can/can't (don't change your plans unless you're desperate)
>if she's busy/etc and doesn't suggest an alternative, or if you're busy, then say "ok well just text me when you're available, gotta go, cya" and leave (assume that she's a lost cause and keep approaching others)
>if she texts you, then call her and say "saw your text, wanna go get ice cream?"
>if she says yes, then say "hmm, i don't really know any good spots", she will pick one if she likes you and wants to see you, otherwise say "ok i'll look one up, i'll talk to you soon" and say goodbye
>i'm just making this up past the saying-goodbye-after-cold-approach part
>call her right before date night, and don't let the first date go longer than 2 hours, avoid texting her in general (call her when you wanna talk)
