I used to go out to metal concerts and shove people around and get shoved in the mosh pit, get a good sweat on and leave your worries on the floor.

I started to go to the gym and running a lot because the metalhead lifestyle leads to being fat, pretty much 99.99% of guys at the gym are "fighting demons" or whatever every time they're lifting so hard their eyes are gonna pop out of their head. I find that going for runs really clears my head better than anything else.

If you're not getting tattoos you just gotta own it. I actually have a couple of scars from cigarette burns, though I don't think I was consciously upset ( I was very drunk) and hthey're just there now. Scars are proof that you're alive.
