Siberian tigers live with Ussuri brown bears which are larger than grizzlies and do just fine. Polar bears are huge but are non territorial and get bullied by barren ground grizzlies the size of a lion

The wolves in Russia are the same size as those in Canada and tigers depress their numbers, often to the point of localised functional extinction. Not sure why you think India is the same as Russia
