Sheep just lose, lose, and lose. They're a very inefficient and low quality animal. First to be domesticated but not first place in domestication.

The moment you build a healthy trade relationship with a fabric or fur producing region sheep lose their reason to exist. Chickens mog them as a continuous source of food. Fish aquaculture exists alongside perpetual, self-sustaining crop agriculture further enhancing the mogging.
