I agree with you here, but I also don't follow modern positive only training in all aspects. Especially because even these people will advocate for practices like crating for hours (canid "dens" are ALWAYS open; crates are cages), head halters which are arguably worse than prong collars, wanting dogs to maintain a heel when walking them (half the enjoyment a dog gets from a walk is sniffing around, I let my dogs walk in front of me), etc. Flipside of that, my dogs understand what "No" or "Stop" means, and it means knock it off, you are misbehaving.
