...that means he's selling, right?

I mean of course, if he's supposed to be the public in charge of overseeing it, he can't have a vested interest, but it still equates to...

So doesn't that mean that he would also have to sell "a shedload of bitcoin" in order to be appointed?

That much selling, wouldn't that increase supply and thus lower the price?

Wouldn't it just suck if they sold and then the price went UP? How would that happen?

...kinda makes me think it'd be nicer if they sold, and then the price went DOWN...but at least it gets officially regulated, so I guess the bitcoiners are under the protection of the government now. Which is what they wanted?

I don't know...seems like if i was a bitcoiner that was interested in bitcoin because i didn't like the government and big finance collusion, i wouldn't be too happy about being regulated by the government.

Why would government regulation mean bitcoin should become more expensive to buy? That is, why should it make bitcoin sell for a higher price than before?

This crypto ball is filled with a bunch of people who hold bitcoin, and want to hold offices REGULATING bitcoin that would entail they sell their bitcoin in order to avoid conflict of interest...

So it's a ball to celebrate them all selling bitcoin?
