A sound, auditable money system fixes free trade permanently, regardless of tariffs and vats (scam tariffs). But instead we have a very convoluted system of interconnected currencies because every country's central bank apparatus is doing double book shell game accounting to try and keep their currencies stronk, whilst simultaneously holding foreign bonds as a MAD strategy to force somebody like trump to not flip the whole table.
