listening to music is unnatural and a waste of time you should be spending the time you use finding and listening to new music improving yourself and getting more money instead

and? You are manipulating yourself with artificial stimuli. Music while studying has proven to be distracting and unfavorable for learning. Music while working out to motivate you and help you is basically cheating. A PR doesn't count if you need loud music to lift it. And music while trading, might as well start drinking and smoking while trading.

You are not being present in the moment and distracting yourself with fake sounds. Imagine taking a walk through the forest and putting headphones in instead of listening to the birds chirping and sounds of nature. Disgusting. The city is the same. How can you ever be truly present in the moment if you are always blasting music in your ears. Even worse, you could end up hurt or robbed because you can't hear things coming.

and for thousands of years it was an exclusive experience, restricted to rituals and celebrations. Something magical that was akin to a spiritual experience. More recently concerts and shows. It wasn't until the invention of the radio that people started playing music everywhere. Nowadays everyone has headphones in all the time everywhere blasting their music. Humans were not meant to live like this. It's overstimulating and unnecessary. It's bad for your brain. It's bad for your spirit. And it's bad for society.
