>Signifies that they are "worthy". Women play this competition game of "my boyfriend did x" and my boyfriend did y. This competition is how they rank eachothers attractiveness. It's basically a tangible way to prove how much their boyfriend/husband loves them. Engagement rings fall under this category as well. This basically means if they see their friend go on vacation, they are infinitely more likely to ask their own bf for a vacation as well because they want to seem as attractive as their friend.
>They aren't forward thinking enough to realize that tourist areas are usually very cringe. If she wants to travel to a small town or remote area that's one thing but most of the time they want to travel in the big cities for the tourist picture and "flex" like in point number 2. Saying you went to Barcelona means more to normies than saying you went to Alicante even though both are in Spain.
>They don't value money. To them it doesn't matter if a vacation costs X amount of money because it is a lot easier for them to earn money. This is because usually in a relationship they aren't the one paying the bills so they don't think about saving. And for the women that are single, it's easy to find a sugar daddy that will just pay your rent or take them out to eat, saving money on food etc. This one I really just don't understand but for some reason they like spending money.
