I've gone to Hooters my whole life. They started in Florida.
They're essentially family restaurants. Don't be immature. There will be huge screen TVs, good quick service, decent food, beer at the right temperature. If you're not a creep, or dine with creeps, you will simply be able to spot the 1-2 weird awkward guys there alone, but not much else different from any other restaurant where bros go after work to eat or drink The staff will actually hustle to give you good service with a smile and compete to make you happy, which is refreshing anywhere. You can be a whole table of women, with a chill relaxed waitress giving you the same service without the hustle at your table, either/or.

With the case of Twin Peaks, I think they advertise the temperature of their beer is kept quite cold. There is nothing sordid going on at any of these restaurants except generous tips for kindness.
