A lot of them aren't old enough to cook for themselves yet. If you're talking about restaurants, it will be all shit you can take photos of. Very expensive elaborate dishes with a focus on presentation. I went to an Indian restaurant recently and they had a similar thing. "Quirky" menu items, rice was served as perfect cylinder with little flower on top, cost an ass load (in more ways than one).

You can't just buy food anymore, you've got to buy an experience. You're buying the personal brand interaction between yourself and the restaurant and the online impressions from the food content. Of course it must taste good because everyone is talking about it and would quickly reveal if it sucked, so that will be nice at least. I doubt the trend towards higher quality ingredients and local sourcing will reverse, people have just discovered that it tastes better.

The theme will be chaos. Any restaurant which exists for too long will lose its viral appeal and need to be replaced with a new one. You can see fast food adapting to this already. Crumbl cookies are very picturesque and change every week. In the attention economy, even food must demand attention to create value.
