I stopped uploading mainly because I wasn't drawing. I'd tried a handful of sketches and the old draw-the-cans trick for a bit, but ultimately I just got bored. At this point, it seems more useful to focus on improving things I'm interested in. And while being able to draw things is kind of neat, it's not really something I cared that much about. I'd rather program computers or even learn languages over learning to draw.

As for why not browsing Deviantart, it just got worse over the years and everybody else just seemed to stop using it. People moved to Tumblr and then once porn got banned over to Twitter. Honestly, DA is still better than trying to scroll thru Instagram, but it's just not something that I visit unless an artist links theirs.

I'm also not sure what DA's currently policy is for copyright. I remember back when DA was claiming copyright to all the artwork being posted there.
