I green text the Marvel comic in the same time but it would take up too many posts, but it's worth noting that not even the comic was following the story bibles and just doing their own thing. Hasbro biggest interference was "push this toy for an issue/episode, get rid of this one we don't sell it anymore." they never fucking cared about their personalities, Ron Friedman stated in his book that Hasbro would just leave them alone short of very vague ideas like "Kill Optimus Prime, don't use Alien creators, we want a planet size Transformer" and with the TV and comics the writers would often ignore them with little consequence, the movie however they kept a closer eye on but that goes against this status quo idea because Hasbro wanted the whole starting 84 line fucking murdered and replaced.
