I really wish more people would realize this. That not everything is timeless or can be made timeless. They are just a product of the times they were made and only really works for that one generation.

Dennis the Menace just works in the context of early 60s suburban family sitcoms. Flintstones is the same, it's a typical 60s suburban sitcom but with a heavy theme.
Just like Clerks or Mission Hill only works in the context of 90s teen angst and 90s music.
A lot of 80s shows only work in the context of the 80s since they heavily used popular MTV styled music and glam.

Looney Tunes is timeless because it's talking animals that could appear in any setting, they do not adhere to a single location or time period. You can stick them into any setting and it works.
