Going by the past, no. None of the women he has banged have reappeared. Not even his son has reappeared. Extended family rarely appears. If space Beth wasn't an excuse for lesbian incest sex, she probably wouldn't be in multiple episodes.

If they did bring her back it would be one episode and it would just finalize that they are over like unity coming back.

Dan thinks he is doing a Simpsons, or similar sitcom. He doesn't see any of the side characters as being real characters. They are just set peices for a script. Much like Simpsons has never revisted that Homer has a brother. Or hank hill has a Japanese brother.

Despite Dan clearly being influenced by 80s and 90s marvel comics, he does not see TV show making like a marvel comic where you build large teams and drag out their interactions for years and put out spin off books. He doesn't see RnM like a true sci fi show like star trek where there are a lot of characters and they bring in new characters.

Part of him wishes he could write a scifi show. He will try for half a season. He brags about his hero's journey writing wheel. But he always eventually has a depressive episode, feels like an imposter and flushes it all to return to his comedy sitcom roots. He is unable to commit to doing multiple seasons of a scifi.

I'm not even sure if he wants to. I feel like scifi watchers are keeping the show on air and people who like comedy sitcoms have kind of checked out. The humor was already shifting by season 2.
