Ok so wannabe Jew Brevoort champions the soap opera aspect but refuses to have any stakes or progress occur. What a fucking braindead take. Also what kid wants to see Spider-Man be a fucking loser who never grows up? What fucking world does Peter live in? Oh yeah the world outside our window as Marvel so loves to say. But that involves actually making worthwhile messages about our world and making stories actually have stakes and continuity that matters. Otherwise it's a soap opera with no drama and actors that never age but are never interesting either.

Yes but this is current year comics where writers barely fill up the page with anything of note and also current year Kelly who is rather boring. This unexplored aspect of Peter's life is best left to somebody like JMD who along with Stan Lee wrote stories set exactly at this point in Peter's life like that mini story by Stan during the Clone Saga and JMD's Shadow of the Green Goblin.
