A lot of people already have guns hanging around from their parents, family members, or whatever.
You can just google gun stores near you, it's very simple and they even advertise in real life.

Finding guides to make improvised weapons is much harder. Part of it is because governments and search engines try to prevent you from finding those links.
Then after finding guides you have to read and understand instructions, go out and buy the components, and take the time to build the devices properly.

Not all murders are even planned out. A lot of them are heat of the moment.
