thats true though, and thats why i need a setup where the "filter" is some disposable, cheap stuff that can be exchanged every few days
just enough to catch the heavy particles as resin and such, before pushing the rest of the smoke outside through the roof

that was my original plan when i was looking for a house - to have some sort of installation going through the chimney
the particular house that i want to buy, does not have any fireplace though...
