it's totally topsy turvy.
I don't see why recognizing you're part of a race is egoistic. Thinking you're an enlightened individual and the facts of the world don't exist or will just magically be done away with cause of how you feel is the ultimate egoism. I don't think anyone who's deeply though about race becomes less racist, only people who remain willfully ignorant of it.
