Not all eating disorders are caused by disliking your body. It's called an EATING disorder for a reason. It can be a coping mechanism or stem from other things
You can be diagnosed with an ED and not have body dysmorphia

Bulimics BINGE AND PURGE. Eating and purging is a different disorder. By definition binges are hard to control. Willpower isn't enough especially because the disorder is irrational and cam become a habit.
