You could just run with a gun. It wouldn't even be paranoid, it could be nice if you run into a bear or moose depending on where you are. I rarely bring a gun myself but here's how I do it with a subcompact 9mm
>wear long compression underwear to prevent chafing (it should completely cover your thighs when pulled way up into your junk)
>use any kind of waistband holster with the gun lined up over your crotch but slightly to the side
>running shorts on top completely covering it
Although if you actually ARE concerned about bears or moose and not just a nigger camping in the woods, you might want to consider something more like 10mm. I'm sure you could still manage running with it concealed, but at that point doing it openly would be much more comfortable.
