Why would I do that when I've made it quite clear I don't believe he exists? But people can still make internal critiques. Arguing against God as a moral authority really isn't supposed to make someone decide God doesn't exist, it's supposed to make them question their own certainties about the nature of God and examine whether their sense of morality is actually based in faith or scripture, or if it's actually coming from somewhere else. Frankly I see it as a way to draw common ground.

Inevitably we're both the rubber and the glue here. All I can say is that I'm the one that doesn't believe in a cosmic being of conscious will, and you're the one that does.
