Well first of all understand the distinction between theological head canon, and like actual irl involvement with a community of people centered in a church. Not that theology isn't important here but Christianity isn't purely a theoretical religion, it's also a lived one with real people and real communities. So before joining any church, consider not only the theology, but also the practices and social interactions within the church.
