No, they're not magnets or infohashes. We're encoding the links to keep bots and scripts from recognizing them as URLs and harvesting/reporting them. Some of the encoded links *may* have multiple layers - like ogres ... or onions! You might have to "peel" them more than once to get to the good part.

Why you should not trust youtube shills:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VH1WEYF8rlA
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Twy5Wo8m284
Do not worry pressure levels. 1024 is more than enough.
Remember to ignore all chinese shills. They often post paid twitter promos from random artists. It's all shilling, ignore it.
Recommended tablets:
>Screenless:
Used Intuos 3, 4, 5, Pro, One by Wacom
>Display:
Small (10-11"): Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite
Medium (12-16"): Samsung Galaxy Tab S8/S9 Ultra, used iPad Pro 12.9" Gen 1-5
Large (22"+): Cintiq 22, Cintiq Pro 27
Avoid:
>XP-Pen, Huion, Gaomon and every other Chinese brand making Wacom imitations
Poor build quality, pens with wavy lines, wobbly nibs, broken tilt, issues registering light pressure, terrible customer support, uncalibrated displays. All Chinese brands have the same problems. Check out the webm to understand how bad they are.
Do not be fooled by myths like "Chink companies are just as good as Wacom now" - they've been saying this for over 10 years, nothing has changed.
Chinese companies have also been proven to shill on 4chan. You will see dozens upon dozens of posts in this thread by a chinese schizo shill, who will either be bitching about the OP, gaslighting as a Wacom fan, making pointless spam posts or giving terrible advice (like recommending Huion). Just ignore and report him.
>New iPads
Massively overpriced and overhyped.
>Microsoft Surface Pro
More optimized for palm rejection than good quality drawing. Wobbly lines when drawing slow and straight.
>Cintiq 13-16"
Completely outclassed by the Galaxy Tab Ultra & iPad
>Cintiq Pro 16, 24, 32
Overpriced, QC issues, loud fans, proprietary mount interface
>Lenovo
Worse than Samsung in every way.

The general thread for Manga / manga-styled comic-making, manga-style illustration and related comic work. That said, everyone is welcome here.
Support each other and talk about your work or the work of others that excites you. Inking, character design, paneling / layout, writing, planning, and other discussions are all welcome.
Post resources, questions, in-progress pages, breakdowns of other works, etc. If a work is not yours, credit the maker (unless it's fucking obvious like a full page of One Piece or something).
Thanks to everyone for making /mmg/ a level-headed and helpful place. Remember, drawing and making comics and manga are difficult endeavors, and we're all in this struggle together.

Hey /ic/, I need your advice on something that happened.
I was talking to a fairly well-known Twitter artist about a commission. I wanted them to draw Yoru from Chainsaw Man, pointing at the sky while the Statue of Liberty above her was starting to crack, revealing the devil inside. The artist was really nice, professional, and even cracked a few jokes during our conversation. We were getting to know each other, and everything was going well.
At one point, they mentioned that the level of detail I wanted would take a while maybe 2-3 months max since their style is technically and artistically demanding, and they already had a few works in progress. As a joke, I said something like, "Maybe you should start training an AI to emulate your style and just do manual touch-ups for accuracy."
Before that, our replies were pretty fast, almost like a back-and-forth conversation. But after I made that joke, they suddenly stopped responding for nearly 30 minutes. When they finally replied, they just said, "I'll get back to you if I'm available for your request."
I got the feeling I might have offended them, so I apologized and admitted that my joke might have been insensitive. But they haven’t responded since yesterday.
Do you think I really upset them to the point where they won’t take my request, or am I overthinking and they’re just busy? As artists, what do you think I can do to make amends? I’m genuinely feeling so down about this. :(
P.S: I do not support AI "art" and am strongly against it for obvious reasons. I just wanted to make a joke, but I feel it backfired? New manga I'm writing, called Halonar
Here's the sketches of the first page >Want to draw stylized anime girls

Everyone knows the Western approach to drawing is superior and will stand the test of time, while your favorite seasonal anime will be a passing fad. Even your favorite manga artists bend the knee to Andrew Loomis and Bridgman. Anyone that points to moe as their favorite "aesthetic" demonstrates just how hollow a mind they have and how uninspired and vapid their taste truly is. Prove me wrong, animeslop consoomers. Can western comics and manga even be considered the same media? For stupid questions and questions that don't deserve their own thread.
Post here if you don't expect your thread to reach 100+ replies. What exactly made 2000s anime art styles so weird and deformed compared to modern and pre-digital ones? What makes weebslop art so deformed and ugly when compared to comics? Does anyone have this references pack? Please?:

I've always had awful handrwiting that only I could read, but only recently learned this was an ADHD thing Has anyone done low res pixel art, then used a SNES emulator upscaler filter, then did a quick paintover to fix some issues and bring up the quality?

plantanon/carpal tunnel anon, I'm bringing it back, here's a copy paste of the previous OP:
This is a thread for those who want to go through dynamic sketching as a group in an effort to improve drawing skills starting from the very fundamentals. Here we share the tedious grind, crit and encourage each others.
Please specify the week you're on and if it's dynamic sketching 1 or 2 when posting your work.
>What's Dynamic Sketching?
A class by Peter Han that focus on improving draftsmanship, construction and design. It is intended for beginners, but the second class can be useful even for /int/. It covers a wide variety of subjects, but not figure drawing.
>Where to get it?

>Peter Han says to get a lot of material, are they needed?
Your choice. Honestly, just draw. Use what you have. But if you want, you can get it. You can do it digitally, but try to refrain from using ctrl+z and other features. At the end of the day though, do what you want. As long as you put the work you're gonna see progress.
>I'm /int/ (as if, pyw faggot), should I bother?
If you want to expand your range of subjects, I recommend it. It also covers a lot of fundies that doesn't hurt to revisit. I suggest you start with DS2 though.
>SCHEDULE
>DS1
week 1: Lines and ellipses
week 2: Organic forms and textures
week 3: Perspective, basic of light
week 4: Form intersections
week 5: (Optional) Materials: markers, paint, pencils, etc.

week 7: Redesign
week 8: Preview of DS2: military vehicles

Mess up a lot, get that mileage in, but most importantly pyw I remember a time where the Rinotuna course was long searched.
Now it has been some time since the course was leaked, did you learn anything anon? or were you just hoping this was the secret course to unlock your skills, but failed to do so? In TC theoretical framework, I just discovered the following relationship: the 'cultivated' thickness of a 'biform' determines its tendency towards radial or linear properties. This is interesting because it supports the hypothesis of the 'indifferent biform' [the 'brotherhood' is predominant within the 'anticipatory margins'].
A biform with minimal 'degrees of freedom' [a circle with hard edges] does not propagate beyond the explicit boundaries of its border. In contrast, a biform with more complex degrees of freedom [a diffuse line] does propagate beyond its limits, increasing the system's entropy. Who looks at this and says to himself "Yeah, I wanna draw like that!"? What makes this look somewhat westoid influenced despite obviously still being drawn by a nip artist? I still don't get it. Inb4 beg, creepy, study more theory, photobashed, traced etc. I haven't drawing in years just got back into it , also this was a request that I am not finishing but my point still stands how the fuck do I paint mouths Thoughts on this uncommon design choice?
Imo it could potentially look better than the standard line mouths generic anime go for but very few people are capable of executing it well without looking ugly or too cartoonish from what I've noticed, with Rizdraws notably being one of those exceptions Annual Shibuya Rin General

**join SHIBUYA rin discord for big help** I believe there is a huge untapped yumejoshi market out there, so I'd like to ask what are the secrets to draw pussy-drenching men? Daily reminder (((Aphantasia))) is a psyop.
I got over it and so can you, dont fallf or the lie/ I practice drawing men's profiles every single day... With female profiles, everything is simpler: I learned how to draw them back in my anime phase (LOL).
How is it more convenient for you guys to draw faces? A profile? Full-face? PLEASE respond if I'm not the only one sweating while drawing these men's noses... Am I jaded or are all of the "never stop drawing" posts only made by people who had the talent to begin with?
You never see anyone posting art that didn't have that spark. I'll start: line weight / line control
Pic included are just a few random sketches with different brushes I was testing out. Just to give a general look at the level I'm at right now. It's not amazing, but I saw a video recently that stated it's actually much harder to learn to color, and that lineart isn't really necessary as long as you know how to color, and their end results seemed good enough to me, so I've chosen to focus on coloring for now.
i watched this video which has nice looking art https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOGj7n47xQc the problem is that at some points the artist says stuff like "finally I finish off the eyes" and just zooms through showing 4 different steps with no explanation or guidance. I have the same problem with this as I do when people tell me to look at the pictures I'm inspired by and "try to reverse engineer" the artist's process, which is that it feels like if I do that, it would be the equivalent of asking a fry cook to mimic a great chef's dish simply by looking at what their food looks like at different points in the creation process. I'm a beginner, so it just doesn't work.
I would also appreciate any advice on what coloring or painting 'style' I should go for. I assume this may be up to trial and error and based on the individual's comfort with the styles, but I wanted to check and see if anyone could see what I may do best based off my sketches. Donarudo Torampu arrives!
I think I'll do Weidel or Meloni as Android 18 next.

Long Live Animation thread ! Can anyone explain to me what he's doing in this video? I don't get it, i watched it 10 times, a hint? anything?
What are the degrees, in the first drawing? The 30 and 60 degrees seem to be written in randomly? Why do successful/good artists instead of inspiring people makes them take the black pill and give up? Or just general drawing criticisms. I want to learn how to draw buff/muscular dudes better so im making a thread to collect references of buff/muscular dudes doing mundane things or wearing clothes that aren't just speedos or compression shirts.
Thread to study the adult male body. Post your art, discuss artists, and post resources related to the subject of cute guys and handsome men.

Maybe one offering animal models? hey guys :D i'm going around asking/kind of polling to see what style is generally popular amoungst commissioners/buyers nowadays. Does anyone have any advice/opinions to share?

im trying to make a side walk cycle and its not working out, does anybody have any refernces, sugjustions, or artist/games I can use How many frames should pixel art sprites use for walk cycle animations? Should I name my art account with part lf my name or is that a bad idea? My other user is named after a japanese word but I’m not japanese. Does anyone here make a part time income from art? Not enough to completely live off of but say, 1k+ a month?
If so, how did you get there? People always say do art on the side, now I want to see if you're actually doing it. this is the only drawing i've made this year. the only one in months. how do you guys combat artblock? >Westerner captions drawing with "rkgk" How are you supposed to make an OC that justifies its own existence without sinking huge amounts of time into a manga/comic/story or whatever?? fuck you and your gay ass links nigga, just draw edition

**Strive for quantity AND quality.**
Anime Studying:
>Copy anime references exactly and draw them from memory. Use illustrations, screenshots, anime figures, 3D models, etc.
>Don’t copy recklessly. Use construction, color theory, and other fundamental concepts to rehearse a drawing process that you can later easily manipulate for original artwork.
>Post all of your anime studies. Post even when you’re told not to. Create an art community that actually draws and improves together instead of just talking about it.
>Number your attempts and link to your previous posts.
>Critiquers should lead by example by posting their studies.
General Anime Style Discussion:
>Questions about achieving certain styles/techniques/compositions etc.
>Drawing methods, study habits, resources, tutorials, tools, software, etc
>Be specific and try to post a sample of your study attempts before asking for help.
**Draw copies from good anime styled references to mindfully up our mileage, internalize appealing aesthetics, and learn from each other’s processes and knowledge.**

>>7447040 USED THE BACK OF MY DOOR AS THE CANVAS Hello, this is my first attempt at using the loomis method to recreate chud.
Why is he looking so.....chaddy? What did I do wrong? ITT post your weird drawing habits
I need to wash my hands before I draw because I don't want the grease on my hands to affect my drawing grip and accuracy Is it a thing with the lateral tripod grip fucking up the movement of the hand?
I've tried the dynamic tripod but it's shaky and exhausts my hand in about 2 minutes of using it i got thirsty and drew a watermelon. thoughts? so i wanna start to draw nsfw stuff but am little loss what is the best way to start to learn to actually get good? any suggestions? mostly i wanna do it for my own enjoyment i would go to the 3d path but my pc aint that powerfull I legitimately can't think of a single western webcomic drawn by an low skill amateur hobbyist that visually improved by much within it's run.
Literally, all the online comics and indie animation projects that look good are already made by experienced and very skilled artists who have been honing their craft for 10+ years (Speedoru, Gooseworx, TheGoldenSmurf, Ceehaz, Anaugi, etc.) while historically the ones made by actual starting amateurs never improved significantly, except possibly Twokinds (and even then it's not at all impressive compared to the formerly mentioned twitter/newgrounds artists).
What the reason for this? Who's the Sako Toshio or the Kazushi Hagiwara of the western internet creative space?
Basically someone starting with beginner tier art skills but ending up with really professional and high tier art that rivals the very best in the industry by the end of their main project. Do you think those who give up on art deserve to live? draw 3 spheres of equal size in fisheye perspective I make these sometimes just for fun. I hope you guys can appreciate it, I can't really post it anywhere else Show us your projects, big and small!
A project can be anything including but not limited to:
>a manga/comic
>a short animated film
>piece(s) for an art exhibition
>video game assets
>series of illustrations
Questionnaire:
>What type of project are you working on?
>What inspired you to create this?
>How far are you into your project?
>Any previous projects?
>Any social media?
>Would you like to receive feedback/criticism?
Per usual, don't respond to bait and simply report/ignore anything that isn't conducive to drawing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJDtQTTAogk Drawing legitimately ruined my sex life Hello, what is this exercise called? I am stuck in a course. I’m trying to practice perspective, but this exercise is so difficult—or maybe I’m just a perfectionist. And there’s another one with 16 sides, so what the heck? I understand the horizontal and vertical cubes, that’s easy, but the diagonal ones are a pain to figure out. Like, how do you even study this and learn to do it perfectly? Any help, please? What do you think about the usage of 3d models? Thread for sharing supplies, techniques and tips for inking. Also feel free to post your work.
Will nibs always give me a less clean looking result than technical pens? I am trying to make my art look neater and technical pens give me that result but are still less versatile than a dip pen is. Do I just need more experience with the latter? >let's add some anime girls, this'll surely make others to buy the course Welcome to /life/. Life drawing is a great way to solidify your understanding of perspective, forms, and movement in the real world to apply them to your own works and pieces. Drawing from life is critical to your development as an artist, yet unfortunately ignored by many artists. Draw from life. It has all of the answers to any question you have.

The age of the copyfag is over. The time of the lifechad has come.“ You guys are drawing the naked figure for "artistic" purposes, RIGHT? Someone who criticized my art and gave me some advice mockingly draws like this, is it safe to say their contribution is worthless? >Milbrath explains that gifted young artists seem to see the world using functional processing; they attend to surface features and details. Less artistically talented children view the world from an operative processing approach.
The sample size is low, but so is the variance and 88 is a good bit below average. Is there actually a trade-off between general iq and artistic ability? Is that why so many art prodigies are popping up in Africa? I have seen a few gold penicls available recently and I have been wondering if buying one would improve my work. I am thinking of the solid gold propelling types as I think plated or rolled would not be as effective in their effect or am I mistaken? Also does higher gold purity lead to better results? There are plenty of 9ct but I have also spotted 10k, 14k and even solid 18k gold pencils for astronomically higher prices. I am kind of in a tight spot financially so I am bit shaky in my budget, but if there is a difference in perfomance that warrants higher purity I am willing to tough it and cheapen' out on my ussually utilities until I am back up to pace money wise.
Thanks in advance. It keeps happening guys... these anti-AI crabs keep attacking real artists on social media... Previous thread >>7475277

https://online-courses.club/anatomy-of-clothing-2019-by-ron-lemen/ Hello, this is my first time posting here.
(Actually, I posted another drawing yesterday, but it was removed, and I didn't see anything strange in the rules)
Well, I made this drawing some time ago, colored pencil on A3 paper (420mm x 297mm).
I would like to hear your honest opinions. I intend to dedicate more time to drawing.
I'm also looking for ways to promote my art (if I should... I think so). Why does this board hate capeshit and american comics so much? I understand everything post 2000s sucks so much but back then they were pretty strong What motivates people to keep posting artwork online?
I have lost the motivation and don't care about the five people that leave a comment or just wants free artwork.
What keeps you motivated anon? Whats with the hype around bristol board?
This shit is coarse as fuck and doesn’t hold on to graphite for shit.
Pic related is mechanical pencil with 2b 0.5 lead on generic printer paper (top) compared to bristol (bottom).
