That's true, some users out there seem to regard this site as some kind of den for alt rights even if that description doesn't quite define the actual average user since the "rightoid element" is merely a passive one, at least compared to /pol/, those guys are insane.

One could make the argument that, while 4chan is a mess in and of itself, you are safer around here than in other platforms because the element of anonymity gives room for sincerity brought by detachment, whereas in mainstream platforms you are conditioned to be someone who follows social rules and conceal our true nature for the sake of those rules.

That is also true. Ironically, I am more concerned of schizos and vendettafags than twitterinos and moralfags when it comes to letting my online activity known. The latter group has no power or will to commit on the hating, but schizos and vendettafags WILL go to places for the hate.
