My personal observation as a biological male is that male and female sex neurology is completely different. I've heard a theory from a radical right winger that all women are essentially bi or pansexual in the sense that they would more strongly identify their sexuality along the dominance/submission spectrum rather than the person's body or looks. I'm not sure that this extends so far that an average "straight" submissive woman would rather be with a dominant woman rather than a submissive (but physically attractive) man, but it may be closer to the truth then not.
