You underestimate habit. Half the reason Adobe could get away with it's bullshit is that people were used to PS and didn't want to change (the other half was every business already owning licenses and expecting you to use it). The only reason CSP got anywhere is that late millennials/early zoomers got into it before getting used to PS, because at the time PS was peak boomerware that didn't have basic shit like a fucking color wheel. Just like PS and Shita, those people will now bend over backwards to ignore all the shit shoveled down their throats just to avoid mild discomfort of adapting to a new program, and whatever alternative will only start picking up in the next 5-10 years after today's kids start coming into their own.
